The service

HouseIn3D is run by Christian Arby, a private individual in Sweden. We build a 3D model in SketchUp format (.skp) of a house from the drawings you upload. The model covers the shell of the house: walls, floors, roof, stairs, windows and doors. Furniture, interior finishes and landscaping are not included.

Preview

The preview is free and doesn't commit you to buying. We aim to send it within 24 hours but can't guarantee it. If the drawings aren't enough to build a model, we'll tell you instead.

Price and payment

The SketchUp file costs $29 (US dollars). You pay through Stripe and get a download link that works for 7 days after payment. Your bank may charge a fee for a payment in a foreign currency or to a company abroad.

Right of withdrawal

The model is digital content delivered immediately. By paying, you agree that delivery starts right away, and if you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you accept that this ends your right of withdrawal. If the file is faulty or doesn't match the preview, we'll fix it or refund you.

Your drawings

You confirm that you have the right to use the drawings you upload, for example because you own the house or have permission from the person who made them. We use the drawings only to build your model and delete them 90 days after your order.

Using the model

You may use the model freely for your own purposes, such as planning, visualization and showing contractors. The model is an interpretation of the drawings and doesn't replace measurements on site, construction documents or permit drawings. We are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of the model.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights the law of your own country gives you.
